If you follow this blog and my Instagram page MarthaStewart48 regularly, you may recall a recent farm project when I had several trees taken down from the shade garden near my Tenant House. The foot giants were leaning dangerously close to the structure, and had to be removed for safety reasons. Once the trees were cut, I decided to save the logs and have them milled into usable boards for future use, and called on Mauricio Guevara for his expertise.
From your window, relish the movable vistas, some visible only by train: woodlands, cranberry bogs, wooden bridges, steep ravines, gorges, forts, waterfront, sand dunes, lighthouses, wildlife. Listen to the tour guide and, on most trains, dine on options from simple snacks to elegant dinners. The memories last a lot longer.

I'm an artist, watercolors, and book designer and Shelburne Falls is a very artist friendly town, so I love it dearly. Mo has always been helpful and friendly. We have stayed there a number of times. Its in a good location.
